ACEC/MA Rising Professionals Committee (RPC) is pleased to share the news that we will be starting the ACEC/MA RPC Book Club, a member-led initiative that brings colleagues together through shared stories and meaningful conversations!
More than just a reading group, the book club fosters personal enrichment, bonding between colleagues in the industry, and fresh perspectives beyond the workplace. Whether you’re a casual reader or a literary enthusiast, there’s always room for you in the conversation. Each month, members will gather virtually for lively discussions, thought-provoking debates, and book recommendations. The lunchtime meetups provide a relaxed space to chat about favorite (and not-so-favorite) moments from the month’s selection. Afterward, members suggest new titles, and a club-wide poll determines the next book.
For the initial book, we have chosen to read the first half (approx. 200 pages) of Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins, but we are looking for suggestions for months to come!
