ACEC/MA’s Rising Professionals Committee is for staff in our member firms who are age 35 and under. To sign up, you should be 35 or less as of December 31, 2026 and employed by an ACEC/MA Member Firm.
Structure
The Rising Professionals Committee has three co-chairs who chair and lead forum meetings. Agendas for meetings are developed by the co-chairs with input from the forum members during and between meetings. All committee members are volunteer representatives from ACEC/MA member firms. Additional participants from member firms are always welcome.
The Rising Professionals Committee goals are:
- Networking and Fellowship
- Exposure to Peers and Senior Leaders
- Career Development
- Awareness and Advocacy Related to the Massachusetts Legislature
- Developing the Next Generation of ACEC/MA Leaders
Events
Possible upcoming events include:
- Session on public speaking
- Speed networking
- Session on working towards obtaining a Professional Engineering license
- Sustainability focused event
- Volunteering event
