In early FY2026, July 2025, the MBTA will deploy an updated construction schedule review (MBSDP) process in eBuilder to align it with the MTBA SOPs. The process will now have three tracks: one for baseline schedules – including 90-days schedules and revised baselines, one for progress updates, and one for TIAs. This will allow the MBTA to collect the specific files and information needed for each of these schedules from the contractor.
Construction Phase Services will continue to have two schedule review steps: one to develop the schedule review report an one to incorporate MBTA comments on the report. The biggest change will be that the report will now be submitted in three parts: a contract compliance checklist verifying that the submission met all requirements, the report, and an on-going comments log. Checklists based on the October 2022 spec are already available on mbta.com and the comments log will be available shortly.
