The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), jointly with the American Public Works Association (APWA), have formed the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) to administrate a new and exciting program -- the infrastructure rating system. This effort provides for infrastructure what the LEED rating system has provided to buildings, in verifying that civil engineering projects are rated as sustainable.  This program just finished a phase of piloting and will be soon available publicly.  Join us for an informative and timely discussion of this rating system from the perspective of its creators, owners, consultants and administrators (the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure).

*If you are an ACEC/MA member, you need your username and password to receive the member rate. This is assigned to you as an individual.  Please do not register others from your firm using your username and password.  If you do not know your member login information, contact TEC at 617/227-5551.

Featuring:

  • Jeffrey L. Beard, ACEC National Vice President, Director of Institute for Business Management
  • Vicki Quiram, Director of Public Works, Town of Westwood, and ISI Founding Board of Director
  • Joanne Massaro, Public Works Commissioner, City of Boston
