Risk Management Forum

The Risk Management Forum addresses the ongoing risk management needs of ACEC/MA member firms and provides recommended solutions. In this forum discussion is conducted on such topics as negotiation of owner contracts, peer review and quality control to provide better engineering outcomes, implications of new technologies and delivery methods and staff education regarding emerging risk trends.

 

Structure 
The Risk Management Forum has two co-chairs who lead the monthly meetings. The co-chairs also develop the meeting agendas with input from the forum members during and between meetings. All members are volunteer representatives from ACEC/MA member firms. The forum meetings are also open to participants from any ACEC/MA Member Firms.

Meeting Schedule
Between September and June, the forum meets on the second Thursday of each month from 8:00 to 10:00 AM. The location alternates between the offices of Donovan Hatem; GEI Engineering; Simpson, Gumpertz & Heger; and AECOM. The dates and locations of forum meetings are listed under the ACEC/MA calendar.
