 ACEC/MA  2012 ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE AWARDS
Call for Entries Due October 14, 2011

The ACEC/MA Engineering Excellence Awards Competition Recognizes Engineering Achievements that Demonstrate the Highest Degree of Merit and Ingenuity

A.  Eligibility
Any engineering or surveying firm is eligible to enter the awards program, whether or not the firm is a member of ACEC. 

Projects entered in the competition may have been executed anywhere in the world.
Projects must have been substantially completed and ready for use between November 1, 2009 and October 31, 2011.
Firms must obtain endorsement/release from the client/owner to enter.
A firm may submit multiple entries.

 

B.  How to Submit an Entry
A completed entry form and fee must be received at The Engineering Center by 5:00 PM on October 14, 2011.
Dowload and submit a copy of the entry form pdf.
Entrants will then be provided with a template notebook/checklist to follow for full submittal.  Email Elizabeth Tyminski at etyminski@engineers.org if you need assistance.

 

C.  Dates to Remember
Entry forms due    Oct. 14, 2011
Notebooks due     Nov. 14, 2011
Presentation to judges (finalists only)  Dec. 15, 2011
EEA Gala     March 28, 2012 

 

D.  Entry Fee
All forms must be accompanied by a non-refundable fee.
Member firm:  $500
Small firm (under 30), Member:  $175
Non-member firm:   $750
Small firm, Non-member:   $350

 

E.  Other
The five finalists at the state level are eligible to submit to the ACEC national competition.
Participation at the national level is optional.   See www.acec.org for details.
