ACEC/MA's Building Engineering Committee The BEC addresses business issues of member firms in the mechanical, electrical, structural, and other building-related disciplines. BEC members partner with the Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAM), the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA), the University of Massachusetts Building Authority, the State College Building Authority, the Board of Building Regulations and Standards and other agencies working on public procurement and project delivery for vertical design and construction.
October 2011: ACEC/MA BEC representatives have been appointed to the Commonwealths Construction Law Working Group, co-chaired by DCAM Commissioner Carole Cornelison and Secretary of Labor Joanne Goldstein.
