Benchmark Diversity Survey—Participation Clarification ACEC/MA is pleased to be partnering with the Commonwealth Compact (CC) to engage our industry in participating in a Benchmark Diversity Survey. The actual Benchmark Diversity Survey will be conducted live in February/March of 2012. The process to participate is to first go to the CC Website (www.commonwealthcompact.com)and become a Signer—when you sign in and see the list of sectors, be sure to note engineering. Becoming a Signer means that your business is committed to diversity and to engaging in business practices that foster diversity. Part of that commitment means that you will actively participate in the Benchmark project, submitting data on your progress. This data is requested every couple of years.
Why participate? The Commonwealth Compact collects survey data on all of its Signers. This data is confidential, is analyzed in aggregate and then published to help each other learn. Each Signer will receive a NOTIFICATION from CC once the Benchmark Diversity Survey is live to collect information—then we need at least 16 firms to participate. ACEC/MA will also send out a reminder to complete the survey.
We all know that diversity is good for business. In fact, variety in the background and experience of both workers and managers reliably enlarges the range of choices, and therefore improves the quality of decisions, in nearly all kinds of organizations.
Thank you for your continued interest in participating.
