The American Council of Engineering Companies/Massachusetts Awards Committee is soliciting candidates for the 2012 ACEC/MA Young Professional of the Year Award. This award recognizes the accomplishments of our young engineers by highlighting their interesting and unique work, and the resulting impact on society.
Criteria:
The ACEC/MA award recipient will be honored at ACEC/MA's Engineering Excellence Awards Gala on March 28, 2012.
ACEC/MA will forward its local winner to ACEC national. The 2012 recipients will be honored at ACEC’s 2012 Fall Conference in Boca Raton, Florida.
The 2012 ACEC Young Professional of the Year Award will be held in conjunction with the National Engineers Week Foundation’s New Faces of Engineering 2012 competition. The ACEC Young Professional of the Year is an ACEC program that is separate from the National Engineers Week Foundation’s New Faces of Engineering program. However, the five winners of the ACEC Young Professional of the Year Award will become ACEC’s nominees to the New Faces of Engineering competition. Hence, all nominees for the ACEC Young Professional of the Year Award must agree to participate in the New Faces of Engineering program. More information on National Engineers Week: www.eweek.org.
