As ACEC/MA celebrates 50 years as the voice of the local engineering industry, the Board of Directors is excited to announce the establishment of the ACEC/Massachusetts Presidents’ Scholarship. The Presidents’ Scholarship will be a tribute to the outstanding leaders whose stewardship has successfully guided five decades of accomplishment. The scholarship will be in the amount of $1,500 and will be announced at the ACEC/MA 50th Anniversary Celebration on June 2, 2010.
Scholarship applications are due May 21, 2010. The scholarship is being provided by the American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts – Education Corporation
Minimum criteria for selection: 1. Individuals matriculating to or enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program from an ABET accredited engineering or land surveying program. 2. Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher 3. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in engineering and/or land surveying-related fields. 4. Plans to pursue a career in a engineering or land surveying related field
