On Wednesday, May 19, 2010 ACEC/MA held the program Evolution of Sustainability and Industry Movement at Northeastern University, Boston, MA.
Overview:
A discussion on the evolution of sustainability and industry movement towards Net Zero from a policy, demand, analysis and execution perspective. Participants learned about ways to improve heating, cooling, lighting and stormwater management needs in a more sustainable environment. Recent projects in the greater Boston area were presented in the light of sustainability, with a focus given toward the Northeastern University's International Village Project. After the presentations, a tour of Northeastern University's newest residence hall, The International Village, was given by Brett Bentson, Project Architect, Kyu Sung Woo Architects, Inc. and Cassandra Mckenzie, Project Engineer, Northeastern University.
