ACEC/MA Education Corporation

The American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts Education Corporation, a 501(c)(3) organization, has been created and shall be operated for charitable and educational purposes, including, but not limited to, (i) the sponsorship and funding of scholarships for engineering and land surveying students, (ii) the sponsorship and funding of lectures, seminars and conferences, journals and other publications, and grants for the purposes of continuing professional education of engineers, land surveyors and related professionals; and (iii) the sponsorship, funding and/or conduct of research in the areas of engineering and land surveying for the benefit of the general public.

ACEC/MA EC Presidents’ Scholarship Applications - Deadline January 20, 2012, 5 PM.  Applications must be submitted electronically as pdfs to acecma@engineers.org

Transcripts may be sent separately from the school.  The recommendation should be submitted electronically.

 

ACEC/MA Education Corporation (ACEC/MA EC) created the Presidents’ Scholarship to help celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2010 by giving back to our community.  The Presidents’ Scholarship is a tribute to the outstanding leaders whose stewardship has successfully guided five decades of accomplishment.  The annual scholarship is $5000 and is presented at the ACEC/MA Annual Awards Dinner and Meeting in June.

 

Scholarship applications are due January 20, 2012.  The scholarship is being provided by the American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts – Education Corporation

 

Minimum criteria for selection:
1. Individuals enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program from an ABET accredited engineering or land surveying program.
2. Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher
3. Individual must be a U.S. citizen
